Holiday Hustle 2023-2024

The popular Holiday Hustle returns from December 24, 2023 to January 7, 2024. Everyone is welcome to join. Ski the route as many times as you would like during this time period, and upload your results (including which technique was used) to Strava or post your results, comments, and pictures on our Facebook group page here. If you would like to participate but don't have social media, please email your time (preferably with a photo of your watch) to events@bvnordic.ca. Prizes provided by local businesses will be drawn at random, so anyone can be a winner.
The route has been updated for this year and is a little over 9 km long and well-signed, including some reflective arrows for night skiing. Conditions will vary day to day, so check out the grooming conditions on Nordic Pulse. Following the signs, start from the stadium and head to the end of Broadway, onto Wetzin’kwa. Climb up the hill and turn right onto the Demo Forest road. Head left up Bob’s Boogie and onto the Upper Logging road. After the descent, hang a right onto Valley View, then take a left at the Dahlie Connector and head up Down and Out to Northern Lights before finishing at the stadium. Note: the course will be closed until approximately 3:30m on December 30 & 31 for the Teck ! & 2 Cups & Chris Dahlie memorial races.
