Staycation Ski Scavenger Hunt, January 23-31

A nine-day challenge.
Due to public health restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tour de Soup team has decided to forgo the popular Tour de Soup for 2021. This year, as an alternative, we are hosting a fun, inclusive event which will minimize contact with those not in your household, and allow freedom to ski the trails with the added challenge of finding and documenting 20 objects, an old-fashioned scavenger hunt!
The Rules
- Download and print the list of items to find. (You may also pick up a copy at the front of the Lodge or at the Lower Parking Lot kiosk)
- Ski around the trails from Saturday, January 23 to Sunday, January 31, 2021 individually or with your bubble friends or family to find the items on the list. Please follow social distancing guidelines while skiing on trails.
- Tick as many items as you can find off the list.
- Drop your ticked list and a cash donation (proceeds to the Smithers Food Bank) off in the drop-box at the front of the Lodge or Lower Parking Lot kiosk. Don’t forget to write your name and email address on the list.
- There will be a post Scavenger Hunt draw from the entrants who have submitted their ticked lists for (wait for it!) CHOCOLATE BARS!
- Winners will be posted on https://bvnordic.ca
- Share your photos from number 20 on Facebook/Instagram using the hashtag #AlohaFromSmithers.
Everyone who posts a photo will be entered into a separate, special draw.
Note: Make sure you set the privacy on your photo to “public” so that we can see it.
