We open for the season Saturday November 20.
With the recent amazing weather of freezing temps, snow and sun, we can now look forward to a fantastic early opening at the BV Nordic Centre. I would like to welcome everyone to join our facilities, so wax your skis and mark down November 20 as one of the earliest openings in 10 years! How do we celebrate that? Come on out and enjoy our great trails!
Many km’s and most trials have already seen plenty of snow-packing as well as track setting, thanks to our relentless grooming crew. Without their help and passion we’d still be plodding in deep snow.
There have been plenty of early birders already enjoying the trails, and it's great to see our Athletic Program in full swing this early in the season. Very few XC ski areas can boast skiing on natural snow in mid November!
Please let's remind ourselves that it’s still early in the season, so beware of some hazards. We will do our best to ensure safe and enjoyable trail conditions with the snow that we have.
Please obey our signs and respect our commitment towards Health and Safety. If we all take responsibility by following our signs and restrictions, we'll have a great time together. Our most recent covid restrictions will be visibly posted in the lodge, and can be round on our website.
